Robert D. Beinbrech, 94, of Sciotoville, died Thursday, May 26, 2011 at Hempstead Manor where he has resided for the past 8 years. Born November 4, 1916 in Bucyrus, he was a son of the late Dean and Florence Fisher Beinbrech, an Army veteran of World War II, and a member of the American Legion. Bob was a retired electrician for the Norfolk and Western Railroad and a member of Portsmouth Church of God. Also preceding him in death were his first wife of 30 years, Francis Campbell Beinbrech, his second wife of 18 years, Nancy Selbee Beinbrech and a brother, William Beinbrech. Surviving are 4 stepchildren, Mary Honakert of Sun City, AZ, Lillian Perdue of Portsmouth, Thomas Selbee of Wheelersburg and Betty Jackson of Plain City. A funeral service will be 3:00 p.m. on Sunday at the Brant Funeral Home in Sciotoville with Rev. Jack Howard officiating. Interment will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday at Memorial Burial Park. The family will receive friends at Brant’s in Sciotoville after 2:00 p.m. Sunday.
