Rodney R. Slusher

Rodney R. Slusher, 57, of Sciotoville, died Wednesday, September 6, 2023, at the Southern Ohio Medical Center.  Born on August 4, 1966, in Portsmouth, he was a son of Henry and Sandra Williams Slusher and was an avid East High School fan of athletics.

Rodney was preceded in death by his father, Henry Slusher, his dad, William Moore, and a sister, Dianna Webb.

Surviving are his mother, Sandra Moore, two daughters, Nikki (Chad) Crawford of Sciotoville and Sandra (David) Montgomery of Minford, two brothers, Lee Slusher of Sciotoville and Tony (Linda) Slusher of Minford, two sisters, Billie Norris of Beaver and Ann (Brett) Basham of Franklin Furnace, nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. 

A graveside service will be held at Harrison Furnace Cemetery with Pastor Perry Prosch officiating.  Memorial gifts may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.

A funeral procession will leave the BRANT FUNERAL HOME IN SCIOTOVILLE at 10:45 a.m. on Friday.
