SANDRA KAY FAULKNER, 77, of Sciotoville, died Wednesday, June 29, 2022, in the SOMC Hospice House. Born on July 14, 1944 in Portsmouth, she was a daughter of the late Raymond and Daisy Morrow Cottle and was a former secretary for the Bureau of Visibly Impaired.
Sandy was a 1962 graduate of Glenwood High School and loved her beautiful flowers at her home. But most importantly was her love for her family.
Also preceding her in death were her husband, Gary Faulkner, and two sons, Tim and Todd Faulkner.
Surviving are two daughters, Terri (Steve) Ellis of Pickerington and Tracy (Brian) Wagner of Sciotoville; two brothers, Ray “Pooch" Cottle of New Boston and Michael (Debbie) Cottle of Wheelersburg; a sister, Rose (Dan) Lodwick of Wheelersburg; eight grandchildren, Kyle, Ryan (Amanda), Amber (Dylan), Aaron, Josh, Brianna (Ryan), Erin, and Amber; six great-grandchildren, Layne, Mila, Boston, Brady, Bria and Kaylee and former daughters-in-law Terri and Wendy.
A service will be held at noon on Saturday, July 16th, at Wait’s Baptist Church with Pastor Brent Saxton officiating. Interment will be in Meade Cemetery.
The family will receive guests at the church after 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
Memorial gifts may be made to Wait’s Baptist Church Building Fund.
