Sharon Kaye Price, 76, of Sciotoville, died Monday, May 20, 2019, at the SOMC Hospice Center with her family by her bedside. Born on June 14, 1942 in New Boston, she was a daughter of the late Arthur and Della Duncan Taylor.
Kaye attended the Harrisonville Avenue Church of God and was retired from the Scioto County Sheriff’s Department.
Also preceding her in death were her husband, Kenneth Price, two brothers, Ronald and Gerald Roger Taylor and two sisters, Joyce Johnson and Shelby Taylor.
Surviving are two sons, Kevin (Joyce) Price of Bellbrook and Darren (Tamera) Price of Chillicothe; a daughter, Traci (Chris) Boland of McDermott; two brothers, Pete (Tressie) Taylor of Portsmouth and Marlon (Renee) Taylor of Wooster; a sister, Pat (Gene) Picklesimer of Portsmouth; twelve grandchildren, Michelle Price, Nathaniel Price, Ian Price, Maryssa Price, Aimee Price, Tristan Price, Terra (Jason) Carruth, Stefan (Danielle) Price, Aubrey Boland, Karli Boland, Mallory Boland and Hilary Boland and a great-granddaughter, Kenzlee Carruth.
A Celebration of Sharon’s Life will be held at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 25th, at the BRANT FUNERAL HOME IN SCIOTOVILLE with Dr. Robert Newman officiating. Interment will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive guests at Brant’s from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Friday.
