Thanea Kelly

Thanea Ann Kelly, 47, of Sciotoville, died suddenly Thursday, April 7, 2016, at the Southern Ohio Medical Center emergency room. Born on October 17, 1968 in North Adams, Massachusetts, she was a daughter of Gregory and Gloria Jean Womack Martin and a member of Fellowship Baptist Church in South Shore, KY.
Thanea was a graduate of Liberty University in Lynchburg, VA where she earned a Bachelor’s of Science in History and Bachelor’s of Science in Accounting, and her Master of Science in Accounting. She was a member of Phi Alpha Theta and a former volunteer for the Minford High School band.
Surviving are her husband, Warren Andrew Kelly, a son, Ian Michael Joseph Kelly, a daughter, Montgomery Elizabeth Kelly; her parents Greg and Gloria Jean Martin of Lynchburg, VA; her mother-in-law, Margaret (Charlie) Padgett of Pensacola, Florida and a sister-in-law, Sarah Ann Kelly of Nashville, TN.
A Celebration of Thanea’s Life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, April 12th, at the BRANT FUNERAL HOME IN SCIOTOVILLE with Pastor Tom Melvin officiating. Interment will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive guests at Brant’s from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Monday.
