Thimmes “Tim” Lee Moorhead, 65, of Dallas, TX, passed away on September 10, 2011 of a sudden illness. Born on February 7, 1946 in Sciotoville, he was a son of the late Dr. Owen T. Moorhead and Mary Katherine Bush Moorhead. Survivors include his wife of 45 years, Connie Elwood Moorhead, three daughters, Victoria (Lloyd) Murrow of Arlington, TX, Terri (Tracy) McKinney of Ft. Worth, TX, and Kirsten (Michael)) Zumwalt of Burleson, TX, grandchildren, Hayley Conley of Ft. Worth, TX, Brittany Carlock of Arlington, TX, Tate Ellis of New York City, NY, Heather Zumwalt of Norfolk, VA, Jordan Zumwalt, USAF, great-grandchildren, Benjamin Conley of Ft. Worth, TX, Kingston Carlock of Arlington, TX, and Charlotte Conley of Ft. Worth, TX. Also surviving are a brother Dr. Thomas W. (Billie) Moorhead of Sciotoville, a niece, Tracey Moorhead (Neil Snyder) of Alexandria, VA, and nephew, Jeffrey (Shannon) Moorhead of Waverly. Tim was a graduate of the University of Findlay and earned an MBA with an emphasis in Finance from the University of Dayton. He worked most of his adult life in the oil and gas industry, mostly as a systems analyst, and was retired. He was a long-time member of the Texas MG Register and took great pride in restoring numerous vintage MG cars.
